Glutamine induces FA accumulation. K562 and KCL22 cells were incubated as indicated for 4 days, stained with BODIPY 493/503, and analyzed by flow cytometry (A) and confocal analysis (B). For the latter, an algorithm to count green positive pixels was exploited on 60 z-stack slices to include the entire cell volume.
